On Monday (25), Porto Alegre Airport now has a new route option to Santiago, Chile. The new direct connection is operated by Sky Airline.

The airline's inaugural flight landed in Porto Alegre at 18:39 this Monday, and took off back to Santiago at 20:30. The connection is offered on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. Between July 5 and August 30, there will also be flights on Saturdays.

The route is seasonal and will be available until September 14. It's an excellent opportunity to explore the Chilean capital, famous for its wineries, gastronomy, mountain walks and, of course, the snow in winter!

The same connection has also been offered by Latam Airlines since January, from Porto Alegre Airport.

The route between the cities is strategic and expands the international connectivity options for passengers from Rio Grande do Sul, strengthening tourism, business and integration between the countries of South America.
