Kopenhagen opens another space at Porto Alegre Airport

Brand has two units available to visitors

Synonymous with fine chocolates and tradition, Kopenhagen has opened another space at Porto Alegre Airport. The kiosk, which opened on Wednesday (25), is located on the first floor of the Passenger Terminal. It is open from 6am to 10pm.

The first space opened by the brand at the airport, inaugurated in December 2025, is in the domestic boarding area. The store has a sitting area, offering convenience and comfort to passengers waiting for their flights.

Both locations offer classic options from the brand's catalog, such as Língua de Gato chocolate, launched in the 1940s and today consolidated as one of the company's icons. Nhá Benta, a combination of marshmallow covered in milk chocolate, Chumbinho, which are small lozenges of tasty chocolate, and Lajotinhas, are also on offer.

There are also gift options for travelers who want to take a tasty souvenir home or to friends.

"The presence of Kopenhagen in domestic arrivals qualifies the commercial offer and adds value to the terminal, meeting the demand for convenience and consumer experiences, as well as standing out as a delicious gift option," says Camila Colombo, account executive at Fraport Brasil.

Brazilian brand

Founded in 1928, Kopenhagen is today one of the most traditional and prestigious brands in the Brazilian chocolate market, with almost a century of history marked by excellence and sophistication.

The company was founded in São Paulo by Latvian immigrant couple Anna and David Kopenhagen. The brand began with the homemade production of marzipan, evolving into a factory in 1943 and creating iconic sweets that have become well-established.
