Fraport Brasil, administrator of Porto Alegre airport since 2018, together with the Ministry of Ports and Airports, informs that it is structuring the operation of commercial flights for the transportation of passengers from Canoas Air Base.

The plan will include actions to adapt the base to receive passengers, as well as cargo and humanitarian aid - which is already underway. In order to ensure compliance with international aviation legislation and Brazilian aviation rules, Fraport Brasil is authorized to operate up to five flights a day from this new point. In the coming days, information will be released on destinations, timetables and other procedures related to and necessary for passenger boarding.
