The goal is to provide more comfort and convenience to passengers in transit
Passengers from international flights at Porto Alegre Airport will count on two new services offered by Dufry do Brasil – Duty Free: reservations and home delivery. The modalities aim to facilitate the purchase and provide greater comfort to customers.
In the reservation service, passengers can choose the products of their interest from 35 days up to 12 hours prior to their trip, guaranteeing the best price, exclusive offers, taking advantage of current promotions and even product stock. The reservation can be made at the international departure store or on the Dufry website (brasil.shopdutyfree.com).
Home delivery, on the other hand, offers the convenience of transporting products purchased at the international arrivals store, without the passenger having to worry about carrying the purchase. Passengers will have the option of receiving their goods directly at their home. Transportation will be carried out by the Dufry network, through a partner carrier. To guarantee this free service, the purchase must be at least USD 200. Delivery time will vary depending on the delivery location.
It is worth remembering that the quota for purchases at arrivals Duty Free is USD 1,000, with a restriction on the quantity of items only for the beverage and cigarette categories. For the other categories, there is no quantity restriction.
“We are pleased about the introduction of these highly attractive new services that our business partner Dufry starts offering, making the travel of international passengers at Porto Alegre Airport even more delightful”, says Sabine Trenk, CCO/COO of Fraport Brasil.
“The home delivery service aims to support the passenger’s right to purchase in this store and facilitate the journey to the final destination without having to carry the goods bought at the Dufry Duty Free stores”, claims Gustavo Fagundes, South America Cluster COO from Dufry.
