Duty Free at Porto Alegre Airport offers reservation and home delivery services

The aim is to provide more comfort and convenience for passengers in transit

Passengers on international flights at Porto Alegre airport have two new services offered by Dufry do Brasil - Duty Free: reservations and home delivery. The aim of these services is to make shopping easier and more comfortable for customers.

With the reservation service, passengers can choose the products of their interest from 35 days to 12 hours before their trip, guaranteeing the best price, exclusive offers, current promotions and product stock. Products can be reserved at the international departure store or on the Dufry website (brasil.shopdutyfree.com).

Home delivery, on the other hand, offers the convenience of transporting the products purchased in the international store, without the passenger having to worry about carrying the purchase. Passengers will have the option of receiving their purchases directly at home. The service will be provided by the Dufry network, through a partner carrier. To guarantee this free service, purchases must be worth at least US$200. The delivery time varies according to the receiving location.

It is worth remembering that the quota for purchases at Duty Free is US$ 1,000, with restrictions on the number of items only for the beverages and cigarettes categories. For the other categories, there is no quantity restriction.

"We are delighted with the introduction of these highly attractive new services that Dufry, our business partner, is now offering, making travel for international passengers at Porto Alegre airport even more enjoyable," says Sabine Trenk, CCO/COO of Fraport Brasil.

"The home delivery service aims to support the passenger's right to store in this store and make it easier for them to travel to their final destination without having to transport goods bought in Dufry Duty Free stores," says Gustavo Fagundes, COO South America Cluster at Dufry.
