Porto Alegre Airport and the Ministry of Citizenship are presenting the first edition of the Children's Theater Festival. The event takes place between October 8 and 13 and will feature six shows and five educational activities. Part of the performances will be accessible with translation into LIBRAS.

Held at the Theatro São Pedro, one of the most important cultural venues in the city of Porto Alegre, the activity focuses on elementary school students from the municipal and state public schools and offers free programming for students.

With sessions at 10am and 3pm, from Tuesday to Friday, and at 11am and 4pm, on Saturday and Sunday, the public will be able to see the plays Macbeth and the Dark Kingdom: Shakespeare for Children, by Coletivo Órbita, Orquestra de Brinquedos, O Enigma das Caixas, by Cia Halarde de Teatro, Expedição Monstro, by Cia Indeterminada, A Extraordinária Aventura Romântica de Miranda e Léo Lorival, by Cia Stravaganza and Picadeiro Faz de Conta, by Cia Rústica.
