Porto Alegre Airport and Ministério da Cidadania present the first edition of the Theater Festival for Children (Festival de Teatro para Crianças). The event will take place from October 8th to October 13th and will feature six shows and five training activities. Part of the presentations will be accessible with translation to the Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS).
Performed at Theatro São Pedro, one of the most important cultural spaces in the city of Porto Alegre, the activity focuses on elementary school students from the municipality and state public schools and offers free events.
With exhibitions at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., from Tuesday to Friday, and at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday, the audience will be able to watch Macbeth and the Dark Kingdom: Shakespeare for Children, by Orbit Collective, Toy Orchestra, The Puzzle of the Boxes, by the Halarde Theater Company, Monster Expedition, by Undetermined Company, The Extraordinary Romantic Adventure of Miranda and Leo Lorival, by Stravaganza Company and Picadeiro Plays, by Rustic Company.
