In partnership with the Porto Alegre City Hall, the Natal em Dança (Dancing Christmas) flash mob took over the Porto Alegre Airport on the morning of December 3. The performance is part of the 2019 Natal Alegre (Happy Christmas) program, a project envisioned by the City Hall to celebrate the holiday season with various activities throughout the month.

Passengers, visitors and the airport community watched as the performers broke into song with ‘Noite Feliz’, the Brazilian version of ‘Silent Night.’ The amazed audience started to move towards the melody. The artistic intervention took place in the airport lobby on the 1st floor and featured 24 dancers from the groups New School Dreams (from Porto Alegre) and GOA (from Novo Hamburgo).
