Passengers boarding domestic and international flights have now something new at Porto Alegre Airport: BCBP (BAR CODED BOARDING PASS). The equipment stands before the inspection channel and automatically reads the boarding pass. There are 12 pieces of equipment to control passenger access to domestic and international departure lounges: eight for domestic departure and four for international departure - three are for direct departure and one for passengers in domestic-international connection.
BCBP provides agility by improving significantly the passenger flow and avoiding queuing, as the process automation allows the passenger to make the reading his or her boarding pass.
The new equipment reinforces Fraport Brasil - Porto Alegre's commitment to transform Porto Alegre Airport into a modern airport with international standards of safety, operations and services.
