Fraport Brasil completes the first stage of Porto Alegre Airport infrastructure works

Fraport Brasil, present in Rio Grande do Sul since September 2017, held, in the morning of November 19th, a ceremony for the delivery of the first phase of the airport infrastructure works provided for in the concession agreement, signed with the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC).

In the presence of the Governor of Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo Leite, Minister of Infrastructure, Tarcísio Gomes de Freitas, Mayor of Porto Alegre, Nelson Marchezan Junior, CEO of Fraport AG, Stefan Schulte, CEO of Fraport Brazil, Andreea Pal, partners and press, Fraport Brasil reinforced its commitment to present a more modern airport with international quality standards in safety, services and operations for its passengers and users. The works are 74% complete - there is still the runway extension with more 920m.
